Filipino solidarity groups slam crackdown in Burma

FDC urges Senate to continue investigation despite temporary suspension on ZTE-NBN project

The decision of the government to “temporarily suspend” the controversial $329.5-million national broadband network (NBN) project, which the Chinese firm Zhong Xing Telecommunications Equipment Company Limited won, is highly suspicious and not enough, according to Freedom from Debt Coalition.
